An immature lark sparrow was found at the Lake Metroparks new park, Lake Erie Bluffs in Perry Township. The bird was along a utility line clearing south of Clark Road. The line runs diagonally from Blackmore to Clark Roads. It was near the east end. The bird was hanging with a mixed flock of sparrows dominated by white-crowned sparrows. The bird was easy to pick out as the side tail feathers are white and they really stand out.

Other birds of note in the area were northern harrier, Wilson's snipe, northern mockingbird, sedge wren, and a late mourning warbler.
