Mockingbird Hill Farm Williamsburg Ohio At about 8:00 am while I was doing my Sunday morning survey of the bird life in our yard my wife called me from the house. She had an unidentified hummingbird visiting the Beauty Berry in our front flower bed. I immediately headed towards the house and watched from a good distance. I have a feeder still up and didn't see the bird at all. I have put up another feeder and if it shows up again I'll post. Tammie thought that it looked very plain like a female ruby-throat. And plump like the ruby-throats do in the fall when they are coming to the feeders in great numbers tanking up for migration. Maybe it has been at the feeder and I haven't noticed it.
