Hi all,

As many of you remember, a Black-bellied Whistling-Duck was reported from Mt. Vernon (Knox Co.) last June and was chased by many. Obviously the probability of it being an escapee existed but this idea was dismissed quickly (pending OBRC action, of course). However, today a photo of a Black-bellied Whistling-Duck was posted on the Birding Ohio Facebook group from only 1.3 miles from where the bird in June was reported. To me, this seems to be good evidence of it being an escapee. Thoughts?
