Both crossbill species continue at Spring Grove Cemetery in Cinci
All,

Both crossbill species continue at Spring Grove Cemetery in Cincinnati.

Flocks of up to 15+ white-winged crossbills have been reported daily since Saturday 11/17.

Since the first report of a Red Crossbill on Friday 11/16 there have been at least three red crossbills present (as singletons) either with the white-wingeds or with pine siskins.
Two male reds were seen on Saturday 11/17 and now a female red has been traveling with the white-winged flock and sometimes seen with pine siskins.
A redpoll was also found on Sunday 11/18 mixed in with pine siskins. I had 36+ pine siskins this afternoon (along with 14 ww crossbills and 1 red crossbill) but was unable to locate any redpolls with them.

Aside from Spring Grove, 6 white-winged crossbills were also reported from Mitchell Memorial Forest in w. Hamilton Co. yesterday.
Also, a female evening grosbeak continues at a feeder near East Fork.
