I was along the lake in Ottawa- Lucas Counties this morning.  Nothing at Magee Marsh.  At Ottawa NWR near the mouth of Crane Creek there was 1 white-fronted goose and 3 snow geese ( all blues).  There was a northern shrike just north east of the parking lot.  Off Stange Road there was a cackling goose with a large group of Canada geese.  And of course the Ross' goose was at the inland lake at Maumee Bay.  It was at the east end of the lake.  In all 5 species of geese this morning.  Other birds of note were 4 flyby sandhill cranes near Vehler Road.  Lots of tundra swans in the Ottawa NWR area.  Also the Bohemian waxwings near Curtice.
