Hi, The ice has blown in closer to shore and created a icy area that begins a few hundred yards out and extends a mile offshore. Over 30,000 gulls present. I was able to hang around for about an hour and got the 4 expected species, plus lots of Lesser Black-backeds,(at least 8 and possibly in double digits), 2 Glaucous and an Iceland. Lots of interesting birds to look at and lots or variation to study. Dress warm.
