Sorry, but I apparently omitted a bird from the OBRC Ohio checklist I've
been sending to folks today. OBRC Secretary Ned Keller, unbeknownst to
me, has already made public this list, and his has one more species
(428), not to mention scientific names and family affiliations. It's
been perching quietly on the OOS site at
http://www.ohiobirds.org/site/library/checklist/official.php for I
don't know how long.
I am a bit dizzy from checklists, and am offering a mint copy of "The
Sibley Field Guide to Birds of Eastern North America" to whoever can
figure out which one I missed.
A sharp-eyed reader noticed two typos that should be corrected on my
list: (1) only one "i" in Pine Warbler, and a missing "s" from Western
Tanager.
Blushingly,
Bill Whan
