Good evening birders, Today a coworker of mine (Sarah Brokamp), informed me of a snowy Owl in Haskins, Ohio. I was able to stop after work today and confirm it. When I saw the bird around 5:30pm, it was sitting on top of a lone wooden fencepost in a field. To find the bird, arrive in Haskins on state route 64(south of Toledo), and take Main Street east. East Main Street will take you past the "Haskins Village Town Hall". Take main street until you hit N. Sullivan Drive. Turn left onto N. Sullivan Drive. Take this until you hit Earl North Drive. Turn right onto Earl North Drive. Stay on Earl North Drive till you start to make a 90 degree turn to the right. On this corner, there will be a small containment pond. The bird can be seen from the road here. It has been at this location for the last two days. The fencepost that I saw it on was about 100 meters east of the corner. Please be respectful of the homeowners in the development, as well as the bird. Good luck!
