In heavy to light snow went to Battelle Darby (wetlands, Kuhlwein Rd., teal/harrier trais, metro park) in the morning where we found lots of waterfowl but little diversity. Robins were on the move with over 650 in the pasture (Broad & Big Darby Creek) as well as several flocks of A. Crows, C. Grackles and Redwings at the Greenways wetlands. Red-tails are paired (since about 2/11) and several harriers were hunting over the south wetlands (across Nature Center). Here puddle ducks were abundant and constantly in the air. A savannah Sparrow was seen at the metro park but no other sparrows (save juncos). All landbirds were in tte mp woodlands Highlights Wood Duck 2 Gadwall 100 (in pasture on south side of Kuhlwein Rd.)
