Greetings from the northwest,

We received a call last evening near dark about a sighting of a Snowy Owl along Road 11, which is the first road east of the Indiana-Ohio state line. We found the bird near 6 p.m. about 1/2 mile north of State Route 111, sitting on a post out in the field on the west side of Road 11. Unfortunately, I forgot to post this last night, so we headed over there this morning and found the bird very close to the same spot. This bird is, from what we could see, nearly pure white, the whitest Snowy we have ever seen anywhere.

Good luck if you choose to look for the bird. If anyone needs further information, please let us know.

Bird long and prosper,
Doug & Micki Dunakin
