Need help identifying the goose in a cornfield with a mixed flock of
Canadian Geese & Mallards. It resembles a Snow Goose, but has strange
markings and head shaped like a duck. Thought maybe it could be a domestic
goose, or some hybrid, but based on it's location I'd be surprised if it
was a domestic goose. There are no houses around the cornfield. Pretty
much out in the country. I also posted a few photos I took about a month
ago of a flock of Snow Geese, both Blue Morph & White, with at least three
Ross's Geese for comparison. I'd appreciate any feedback that would help
me ID this goose. I still want to say it's an immature Snow Goose, but I
could be wrong.
Thanks!
