Birders, Been awhile since I have listed sightings from the "neighborhood". Friday evening, March 29, 7:35 to 8:30 PM. Checked out the woodcock field off of Main St. (border of Middleburg Hts. and Strongsville in Cuyahoga Co.) Parked in the small lot near the railroad tracks, took a folding chair across the street near the power lines and for an hour watched a nice sunset and counted 5 woodcock doing their courtship dance. Saw a couple of other woodcock fly by, possibly other males coming in or females to check out the crowd. Nice. Easter Sunday, March 31, 7:45 to 10:00 AM.
