While digging out our old front path...and digging up LOTS of worms I had the company of about 6 American Robins and 1 Hermit Thrush chasing down the fruits of my labors. We also have quite a few Song Sparrows(we normally have a single pair in the yard), many more Dark-eyed Juncos and White-throated Sparrows than in the past few weeks. Tufted Titmouse, Black-capped Chickadee, White-breasted Nuthatch, Downy and Red-bellied Woodpeckers are also present. Two Eastern Towhees are also still in the garden as well. This is the longest we've ever had them in our gardens. ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
