As predicted ( http://cranecreekbirding.blogspot.com/ ), today (Thursday
May 9) the numbers and diversity of migrants are much improved over what
they had been the last couple of days in the Magee Marsh area. Conditions
overnight were not perfect for migration, but they were good enough to
allow a lot of new birds to come in. Other areas along the Lake Erie
shoreline should also be hopping today, and the northern half of Ohio in
general should be more active than yesterday.

We still think that tomorrow could be even better, but there's no
guarantee. So if you can get out today, you should.
