Decided to take a quick ride on the Western Reserve Greenway bike trail through parts of Champion and Bristol Townships a little while ago and had a nice variety of birds. In no particular order, we saw/heard: Veery (two) American Redstart (several) Yellow Warbler (several) Chestnut-sided Warbler (three) Ovenbird (one) Mourning Warbler (two calling to each other) Common Yellowthroat (seven) Cerulean Warbler (one) Hooded Warbler (several) Red-eyed Vireo (several) Tufted Titmouse (two) American Robin (several) Gray Catbird (two) Northern Cardinal (several) Rose-breasted Grosbeak (two) Scarlet Tanager (one) Blue-gray Gnatcatcher (one) Black-billed Cuckoo (one) Turkey Vulture (one) Red-bellied Woodpecker (one) Canada Goose (pair with three young) Judy Hochadel Champion Township, Trumbull County ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
