The local police chief has asked that we spread the word. There have been a number of near misses on State Route 2 in the Magee/Ottawa NWR/Metzger Marsh region.
It is never safe or legal to stop and bird along this highway. Please keep yourself and others safe. 

They will be ticketing people pulled over on the side of the highway.
