I had an unusual sighting this afternoon, a leucistic Northern Cardinal. The individual was most likely a female as I observed it in the company of a normally colored male. They seemed to be a pair and stayed together. The individual had some minor normal coloration in the tail, but was otherwise all white. The sight of a white cardinal does turn one's head. The two were seen at Oxbow Road, Genoa Township, Delaware County.
