An amazing morning so far in our gardens. We saw a small warbler like bird in our pond which turned out to be a Bay-breaster Warbly, a new one for our yard list. She was very flighty and we discovered that there was a gorgeous male Blackburnian also bathing in our pond! We also have steady visits by 3 adult male Baltimore Orioles, one 1st year male and 2 adult females. We also have one lone female Orchard Oriole visiting the feeders(we have three up.) I thought the White-crowned Sparrows had left, but one turned up this morning. I gave up on finding a Gambels mixed in with that flock. We also have a few Gray Catbirds, one of which is very comfortable with me working in the yard. He'll follow me from front to back singing and meowing quietly when I talk to him. He seems to answer to the name Harry. www.burdzbuttz.blogspot.com ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
