Larry Gara and I struck out to find the Cincinnati Zoo Ecowetland this morning and did so straightforwardly. Here is the URL of an annotated, scaleable map: http://bit.ly/16x0DEj There was not a great deal of habitat available, but it held some good things, especially in view of the paucity of shorebirds in this corner of the state. We had a family group of Mallards, both yellowlegs, a couple of pectorals, a few Least Sandpipers, and a half dozen Killdeer. Best we have managed so far this season. Nice place. Has potential.
