In the Bellevue area in Seneca Co. there are LOTS of shorebirds west of the intersection of T178 & T81. Present were 1 Stilt Sandpiper, 3 Short-billed Dows, 6 Semi-palmated Plovers, 2 Solitary Sandpipers, 1 Spotted and 1 White-rumped S.P. and the more common species. 178 is currently flooded. We approached the area from the east. Steve Landes (who is going to post info later) and his wife approached from the west side. Most of the shorebirds were in the far northeast corner up against a treeline and a corn field. We had more variety here today than on Riddle Rd. which is in Sandusky Co. Both of these areas should be good for several days. Thanks to Ben Warner who posted late last night about the ponds!
