On the Lake Trail a Mourning Warbler was seen at 13:05 at the pipeline Today we had 14 Warblers overall Special note Wilson-2 males & Hooded-Ripple Rock Trail The best way to find the Warblers is to look for American Beech trees. Wooly Ageldids, a white insect is the covering the branches. The branches look white. These can be found along the trails. The Warblers are usually hovering, eating the insects. The Black-throated Blue, Tennessee, & Cape May especially like these insects Bruce Simpson-Naturalist at Blendon Woods Metro Park ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
