Hi all: Duane Yoder and I were watching shorebirds along Wilderness Road
near Funk in Wayne County late this afternoon when 2 WHIMBRELS came in.
Unfortunately, they stayed less than 10 minutes. We did NOT relocate the
Red-necked Phalaropes, Wilson's Phalarope or American Avocet from yesterday.
Still present today were American Golden-Plover, Semi-palm Plover,
Killdeer, Spotted Sandpiper, Greater Yellowlegs, Lesser Yellowlegs,
Semi-palm Sandpiper, Least Sandpiper, White-rumped Sandpiper, Baird's
Sandpiper, Pectoral Sandpiper, Stilt Sandpiper, Short-billed Dowitcher, and
Wilson's Snipe. Su Snyder, Wooster
