Hello all,

I spent the last hour more or less studying the phalarope discovered by Sandra Griffiths yesterday. I'm about 99% sure it's a juvenile Red. That being said the lighting on a sunny afternoon/evening is debilitating. So not a good look at plumage, but on size, structure and behavior I'd lean Red. If anyone is able to get out and check in the morning, that would be preferred. It frequents the open water just out from the yellow and white gas line pipe along Barrett Rd.

Good birding,
Justin
