Hi All, The wind has picked up a little bit this afternoon but small numbers of migrants are still around. The boardwalk produced 11 species of warblers in just over an hour. Other migrants include two Philadelphia Vireos, Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers, both kinglets (GCKI in surprisingly high numbers for so early), and Gray-cheeked Thrushes outnumbering Swainson's. The Crane Creek Estuary (via the estuary trail) produced 52 Long-billed Dowitchers, 70 Killdeer, 11 Lesser Yellowlegs, a Pectoral Sandpiper and 4 Wilson's Snipe. Good numbers of waterfowl as well outlined in my eBird report below. A Sanderling was working the beach. Yesterday I did some birding around BSBO and had a Red-breasted Nuthatch (which is out the window right now as I type), Philadelphia Vireo and a few warblers. http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist?subID=S15252956 http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist?subID=S15253079 Ethan Kistler, Newton Falls, Ohio ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
