Nothing of intense interest, but a continuing retinue of migrants at easily-accessible Blue Wing Pond at Pickerington Ponds. Shorebird habitat is pretty good, and birds seen are different every day; ditto for waterfowl. If you move closer than the mowed grass you'll just spook the birds and see fewer of them. pair of n. pintails 10 prs n. shovelers 20 prs g-w. teals 4 wd ducks 2 mallards 5 mute swans, yuk pr. coots 4 p-b grebes 8 killdeers 3 l. yellowlegs dunlin sanderling 6 semi sp 7 pectoral sp 4 l-b dowitchers g b herons, g. egrets, kingfisher, kestrel, etc. no cranes today. Ellis Pond continues to be spookily unwelcoming to birds in general. Intense weather could change things today & tomorrow. B.
