The eastern parts of Columbus appeared to be just off the edge of the storms this morning, so I made a brief stop at Blacklick Woods with Diana, and we found a decent fallout. In just a few hours we had a good mix of migrants including:

Red-headed Woodpeckers - 2 juveniles around the Buttonbush Trail, where up to 5 have been seen the past week
Flickers - 7-8; would probably have had more if we walked the eastern Multi-use Trail.
Chimney Swifts - a flock of 20-25 was continuously foraging over the park
Brown Creeper - at least 1 along the Maple loop
Winter Wren - 1 along the Buttonbush Trail
Kinglets - both Ruby-crowns and Golden-crowns, though in low numbers
Thrushes - 4+ Swainson's and 2+ Gray-cheeked, mostly in the forest around Ashton Pond
Warblers - large Numbers of Tennesses foraging on the abundant Beech blight aphids here; we saw 16+. Also saw Parulas (2), Nashvilles (3), Magnolias (4), Chesnut-sided, Cape Mays (2), Black-thr.Blue (1 male), Black-thr.Greens (6), Blackpolls (2), Redstart, Ovenbirds (2), and Wilson's.

Rose-br.Grosbeaks - 2-3 at different part of the Maple Loop
Blackbirds - big flocks of Grackles staging in the woods here
