Many scoters are still present at Sims Park in Euclid in Cuyahoga county.  There are over 50.  The rollings waves made exact counts difficult.  There were two large groups.  I could only roughly estimate 28-30 Black Scoters, 20 Surf Scoters, and could only ID three White-winged that I first saw by themselves when I arrived today from 10:50 to 11:40am.  There also was a Lesser Black-backed Gull flying close to the rocks.  It had darker charcoal wings but not as large or black as a Great Blacked with red on the end of the yellow bill and brown streaking on the head and neck.  A few Bonaparte's Gulls and hundreds of Red-breasted Mergansers is all that I could see that was different.
