Hello everyone, I am a relatively new birder to the North-central Ohio area, and I was wondering if there are any "hot-spots" where I could consistently find grassland birds in the spring and longspurs, larks, buntings, and owls right now. I have heard that Buckeye Lake and the Wilds are consistently good, but I wondered if there were other places as well. My visiting ornithology professor asked me if there were any good spots that I knew of near campus (Denison University, Granville, OH, near Newark), so I thought I would ask around. Thank you for your help, and sorry if I am annoying everyone by posting this on multiple birding forums- I don't like letting my professors down in the first week of class. Thanks, Sarah Winnicki ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
