High flying gulls are steadily (and rapidly) flying up the Olentangy River near OSU, which is now ice free. If anyone is out looking for unusual gulls begore they ride these warm winds back north, I highly recommend checking the south end of O'Shaughnessee, Alum Creek and Hoover reservoirs this evening for gulls coming in to roost! Good luck! -Paul Hurtado On Feb 20, 2014 12:19 PM, "Paul Hurtado" <[log in to unmask]> wrote: > I just saw this report from yesterday evening (via eBird). > > http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist?subID=S17106713 > > Hopefully the gulls return to the Scioto near OSU's campus again this > evening, or somewhere else accessible to birders! > > Good birding, > -Paul Hurtado > > -- > Paul J.
