I spent the late afternoon on Hayes Road. There was a large flock of snow buntings, around 200, right near Nauvoo Rd, along with 30 horned larks, and a smattering of lapland longspurs. They stayed pretty much in the same field for the two hours I was there. Also, a good afternoon for the hawks. Half a dozen rough legged hawks, about half and half, dark and light morph. Also one northern harrier, a kestrel, and a couple of red tails.
