A mixed flock of blackbirds (mostly red-wings) have been visiting
under our feeders. The resident N Mockingbird, that I fed a peanut
butter/cornmeal mix all winter has found a lady friend. A male Towhee has
also shown up, Towhees always nest along the fence row behind our house.
The Harris's Sp. is still visiting, but not often. Both Vultures have
cruised over. There is a wood lot, that we can observe from the house that
is always used as a roost for migrating vultures. I have yet to see a group
of them, only a few individuals.
