4 degrees this morning I heard a Song Sparrow with a trill at the beginning of the song, very different At 6:05pm, about 12 Cedar Waxwings flew into my 8 ft. rhododendron, all on top branches, I watched more fly in until 7pm. Some were close to others and many were under the drooping leaves. I observed this one other time when the temperatures were to go to the 20's, tonight prediction is in teens.
