Metzger Marsh (NW Ohio, near Ottawa NWR) is going to be 'drawn down' in the
next couple weeks to create mud flats according to a Division of Wildlife
manager I spoke to today. Two Snowy Egrets were a surprise today (pictures
at https://www.flickr.com/photos/85567104@N05/13917970143/) .

Magee is warming up as well. I found the following warblers in about 15
minutes at the N. end of the big loop: Prothonotary, Black-throated Green,
N. Parula, Yellow-rumped as well as Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, Ruby-crowned
Kinglet and a Hermit Thrush. Pictures of some of these birds at the link
above.

The Boardwalk is receiving a lot of repairs to railings and the decking.
Kudo's to whomever is doing the work.
