A quick bike trip around this park along Big Walnut Creek found lots of temperate migrants this morning. Mixed in with them were a few neotropicals, but most of the birds would not be out of place along the Texas Gulf Coast & Florida in the winter. Included among the hour+ haul were Ruby-thr.Hummingbird - 1 Great Crested Flycatcher - 1 Blue-headed Vireo - 1 singing House Wren - 3 Gnatcatcher - 15+ Hermit Thrush - 1 Ruby-cr.Kinglet - 9 Parula Warbler - 3 Yellow Warbler - 3 Blue-winged Warbler -1 Nashville Warbler - 4 Black-thr.Green Warbler - 8 Yellow-throated Warbler - 3 Yellow-rumped Warblers - 35+, in all plumages.
