The ol' ponds were birdy today. 52 species in total. Most were in and around the pond behind the barn. Soras and Common Gallinule were everywhere in Unit B. Patience is the key to getting good views of both. The Marsh Wrens (tons BTW) will be my 101st species for the year in Marion County. Most of those were at Big Island. See you at Magee! Happy Birding and God Bless! Steve J.
