A small group of us birded Glen Echo Park in the Clintonville area of Columbus this morning, and were fortunate enough to find a Golden-winged Warbler, among many other birds. The Golden-winged was hanging out primarily in the bottom of the ravine. To reach the location, enter the park at the intersection of Cliffside Drive and 4th Street, and go down old road to the bottom of the ravine. Cross the first bridge, and continue to an intersection where a trail goes up the ravine on your right, with wooden steps built into the trail. We twice found the Golden-winged in the trees next to this trail. Other highlights at Glen Echo included Cerulean Warbler, Orange-crowned Warbler (14 warbler species total), and Philadelphia Vireo.
