It appears that the photo of a Ruff On Gilmore Metroparks page was taken off the Internet. Meaning they used a random photo from Google images. At this time please ignore the report of a Ruff. If anyone on this listserv is an employee of Gilmore Metroparks I would suggest the photo gets taken down as it is it is claimed that That is the bird that was seen. Details are still being pulled together. "Best viewed in a flooded field north of the railroad tracks on North Gilmore Road" - "Just north of the main entrance to Gilmore, over the railroad tracks in a large skypool on the right side of the road." Male is jet black below with a Buffy face, white back to head and neck and strongly black- barred body. > > > JB > CLE, OH > www.jenbrumfield.com > ______________________________________________________________________ > > Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society. > Please consider joining our Society, at www.ohiobirds.org/site/membership.php. > Our thanks to Miami University for hosting this mailing list. > > > You can join or leave the list, or change your options, at: > listserv.muohio.edu/scripts/wa.exe?LIST=OHIO-BIRDS > Send questions or comments about the list to: [log in to unmask] ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
