My yard and neighborhood is crawling with cedar waxwings feeding on holly berries. I counted 23 on a not-yet leafed-out tree on Shade at Aurora streets this morning shortly before sunrise. They dove onto a holly as I walked by. In my own yard, there's a huge, thick, berry-laden holly hiding the majority of the birds. At any one time, I can see only 4 or 5, but I know there are many more tucked inside. --dawn, on top of Norwood Mountain, Marietta Sent from my iPad ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
