As the Black Rail saga on The Henry Troyer Jr. Farm in Coshocton County, seems to be coming to an end, I would like to share some simple thoughts sent to me, by birding friend and fellow Mahoning County birder, Jeff Harvey. Bob, You know they say that farmers are in touch with their land. When was the last time that a conventional farmer located a rare bird? The Amish really do know their lands and what is there. I am amazed every time they find a bird.
