I found another (or the same, who knows) magnolia warbler today at clear creek. It was farther up the hemlock trail than the one I saw the other day. This bird perched up & was singing which seemed more like breeding bird behavior than an early migrant but I'm hardly an expert on such things. The bird I saw previously did not sing but was busy foraging & gleaning. I also thought I saw a hermit thrush as well. Hooded, ovenbird, cerulean, Blk-thr Green & Com Y-T heard or seen as well as White-eyed Vireo. Woods relatively quiet. Driving to work around 12:30pm, I was surprised to see a single Common Nighthawk flying above the Lancaster fairgrounds.
