The young Cattle Egret at Twin Lakes was reportedly seen again yesterday/Monday evening (after a few of us were unable to relocate it earlier in the day) after 6pm. Perhaps it's roosting here, but wandering a bit during the day? I checked for about an hour late this morning, and it was not refound, however it may make a showing again there this evening. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area! If anyone finds the bird, I'd appreciate an email or phone call (2488541, area code 719) as I haven't yet seen this species in the state!
