What a beautiful Wednesday morning! Numbers of shorebirds were fewer than in the past 3 days, but more started moving into the area later in the morning. Species seen: Ospreys - 3 Bald eagles - 2 Great egrets - 11 Green herons - 4 Great blue herons - many DC cormorants - 8 Least sp - 2 Semipalmated plovers - 2 Solitary sp - 6 Lesser yellowlegs - 6 Spotted sp - 2 Killdeer - many Belted kingfishers - 2 Red-shouldered hawks - 1 adult, 1 imm.
