It is 2PM, and after a seven and a half hour visit, time to go home. Even though the sandspit is now loaded with people, kids, and dogs; the Red Knot and the five American Avocets are still here. I am the only birder here, so everyone else has no idea of the celebrities nearby. At about 11:30AM, small groups of Common Terns began moving in, finally totaling at about eighty. Several Caspian Terns joined them. Ruddy Turnstones finally made an appearance on the breakwall. Conneaut, today, was entertaining as always.
