Was at Villa Angela/Wildwood Parks (part of Euclid Creek Reserv) on the east side of Cleveland today from 5pm til 7:45pm. Saw a small group of warblers in Villa Angela near the lake from the bathhouse to mobile home park some mixed in with Black-capped Chickadees. Some were flying from the bathhouse across Euclid Creek into Wildwood where I lost them. Best bird was the Yellow-bellied Flycatcher near the bathhouse. In Wildwood found two different species of warblers. Villa Angela: Warblers: American Redstart 1 male Wilson's 1 Magnolia 1 Blackpoll 3 Cape May 1 Yellow-bellied Flycatcher 1 Great Crested Flycatcher 1 Swainson's Thrush 3 Bonaparte's Gulls 45 at Euclid Beach Osprey 1 flew over Euclid Beach area Wildwood Yellow Warblers 2 (along Euclid Creek in willow and Japanese knotweed) Ovenbird 1 (seen along trees to right of road with two hissing house wrens nearby) Wilson's Warbler 1 Black-crowned Night-Herons 1 juvenile fishing north of bridge late, one adult flew to sycamore in northwest area of wetland near Euclid Creek.
