9/28--BDMP--.4 mi. walk to Oak Savannah (early successional stages, mixed broadleaf shrub/woody vines/small deciduous saplings of varying hieghts, mostly oak, among open areas of dense tall weeds/goldenrod, edge/margins of mature deciduous, mixed pine/deciduous) 10 am.--2 hrs. Cool to hot. Mixed migrants early to not. Brief encounter with traveling migrants, an interesting assortment, some in full song, early, most foraging low often in the goldenrod, moving N along the trail, often rapidly.
