I walked around Lower Shaker Lake this morning. Not much there. The only shorebirds were two killdeer. The osprey was perched and feeding on a fish. I saw a number of warblers near the Nature Center. I did a little pishing and got to see a few species in one spot along the boardwalk. The birds came pretty close. I am certain there were more species than what I identified. There were a lot of birds around at one point. I just couldn't view them all. http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist?subID=S19782331 I also wanted to thank the kind birder who gave me the ID for the olive-sided flycatcher. I got a really good view of it perched high up on a dead branch. I was surprised to see some green-winged teals at Horseshoe Lake. There are a lot of mud flats in the north section of that lake. But, no shorebirds. Ken ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
