Ray Hannikman and his crew tallied 172 birds for the month of October .
Highlights today:

 12 Common Loon
   1 Eared Grebe
 90 Horned Grebes
      Great year for Horned Grebes
  this year on the lake with several
  thousand seen in past two weeks.

    1  Peregrine Falcon
  12  Snow Bunting
    2  Lapland Longspur
    1 Common Redpoll
  12  Pine Siskin
