I have been working outside all morning and was buzzed by a dragonfly. It
landed near me so I took a few photos with my phone. At first I thought it
was a Ruby Meadowhawk (have seen them here) but this looks different. I
consulted Larry Rosche's Daragonflies and Damselfies of Northeast Ohio, and
this looks like a Carolina Saddlebags. I will send photos if someone else
more experienced with these is interested. I'm excited to see any dragonfly
so late. A rare one would be incredible. Plus I'm glad to help
document more info regarding them.

Thanks,
Judy Hochadel
