I did a little scouting on my way to work today. Phelps Rd is one of those roads I check for Snow Buntings due to the amount of corn that is grown along there. (I seem to find them more in or around corn fields more than other areas.) While the Snow Buntings are not here quite yet, I did get some Longspurs and Pipits. Looks promising. List below. Happy Birding and God bless! Steve J. Phelps Road, Byhalia Ohio, Union, US-OH Nov 17, 2014 3:15 PM - 3:32 PM Protocol: Traveling 2.0 mile(s) Comments: Driving down the road. Birds were found along recently harvested cornfields eating grain, grubs, and bits of gravel. The roads are partially snow covered, making it easier spot the birds.
