The weather wasn't too bad here other than the wind. There was a very light drizzle, but the heavier rain was to the west. There was a ton of birds moving today. They weren't moving much the first hour and a half, but after that things picked up rapidly. There were good waterfowl with all three species of scoter, including a couple good sized flocks of black and surf scoters. There was also a young harlequin duck, long-tailed duck and a brant. Other species of note were red-necked grebe, pomarine jaeger, and little gull. There seemed to be birds moving until about 2:00, but after that things slowed down pretty quick.
